Initial Oral Examination
This is conducted with patient’s concerns at the top, making sure that oral health, cosmetics and patient’s concerns are at the pinnacle of our attention. Therefore, we start by taking a history of patient’s concerns, history of their concerns, dental history, medical history, x-rays and an opinion of an ideal and alternative treatment plan.  Dr. Kalili performed thousands of treatment plans both at his office and at UCLA for over 20 years so this is an excited time for him to share the extensive experience acquired through the many complex and simple university patients.
Dental Cleaning
Professional teeth cleaning by a dentist is recommended every four months but can vary depending on oral health. Dental cleanings help to remove all the built up plaque and bacteria that everyday brushing and flossing misses (or can’t reach). Dental cleanings begin with a complete oral examination which may include: gum evaluation, checking the bite, and an oral cancer screening. The cleaning process is comprised of plaque and stain removal, a fluoride treatment, teeth polishing, and flossing.

Dental cleanings are very important for maintaining healthy teeth, don’t fall behind on your 4-month cleaning recalls!

Dental Implants
Dental implants are always taken into consideration where there are missing teeth.  This option will be considered along with other options such as bridge, distal cantilevers and or partials to assess optimum procedure for patient’s health and financial budget.

Dental implants are a great choice if you are missing one or more than tooth. Teeth are not solely responsible for chewing; they also help to define our facial features. Missing teeth can drastically affect your appearance but dental implants can prevent this. Dental implants are artificial roots that are placed into the gum line so that replacement teeth can be supported. Dental implants can also be used to support dentures as well as crowns and bridges once the implants integrate with the jawbone.

Crowns and Veneers
Porcelain Veneers * (make hyperlink to launch Porcelain veneer senction) consist of thin pieces of porcelain that are placed over the front surfaces of teeth to replicate a natural look of teeth to improve appearance. If very dark stains need to be masked or if existing porcelain crowns need to be matched, porcelain veneers may be the treatment of choice. Porcelain veneers are extremely durable, and you will be able to eat almost everything. Through the years at the Beverly Hills Offices for Cosmetic Dentistry, we have provided thousands of porcelain veneers with an average life span of eighteen years. Some have lasted as long as twenty-five years.

Are performed utilizing the latest techniques and time proven laboratories to achieve the ultimate smile where the porcelain has diamond translucency to match and enhance the dental contour, profile, mastication and esthetics for a smooth, luster feeling that will have patients in cheers of joy.

Fillings: Resin
Dental Bonding is the procedure of applying a composite resin that matches tooth color and is hardened with a bright light to repair tooth decays, chipped and discolored teeth. You would be surprised to learn how many of our celebrated clients have chosen bonding. Its durability may only be eight years, and it may require continued maintenance, but it offers flexibility and easier resolution to smile problems.

Beverly Hills Dental Corp never uses dark unsightly restorations and always takes into consideration the optimum health and esthetic options.  As a lecturer and scientist at UCLA Department of Biomaterials Science for over 20 years with a multitude of scientific research publications presented globally, Dr. Kalili has an ability to rule out the bad and incorporate the ultimate in materials and achieve the utmost best health and esthetic results.

Periodontal Treatment
Dr. Kalili was trained under renown periodontists at Boston University School of Dental Medicine where the most conservative and noninvasive treatment options were performed.  For example, when patients require periodontal surgery, and analogous to mold on an apple the infection on the bone must be removed or will continue to breakdown the bone.  Where most dentists may perform full thickness flaps to access bone surface, Dr. Kalili performs an envelope access approach which significantly reduces patients healing time and is a minimally invasive procedure yet, with advanced results.
Mouth Guards
Dr. Kalili is founder of Dr. Tom’s Mouthguard which is a thermoplastic material, antibacterial and has a jelly characteristic for the ultimate adaptation to the patient’s dentition for great comfort and fit.
Removable Dental Prosthesis
This approach is commonly performed where patient’s do not have sufficient teeth to make bridges and financially unable to afford implants which can be very costly.  The partial dentures are fabricated of an elastic material that utilizes the acrylic to flex against the oral surfaces minimizing the need for unsightly metal clasps toward an amazing esthetic result and at much lower cost.  This phase can also be performed as an interim procedure pending fixed prosthetics such as implants and or bridgework.
Valplast partial dentures have no metal, uses a flex technology for maximum retention and comfort.
Dr. Kalili is the founder and CEO of NuBrace which has significant benefits over other clear removable orthodontics.  Which include:
  • FDA clearance.
  • No invasive brackets, wires or attachments which are unsightly and can collect bacteria leading to gum swelling, gum bleeding and gingivitis.
  • Removable so user can take them off when they eat and brush their teeth with ease of flossing since there is no wires or attachments.

NuBrace allows doctors to improve alignment of teeth using a series of aligners, which are customized for each patient. They have become increasing popular for alignment correction due to them being removable, clear, comfortable and being almost invisible. The doctors at Beverly Hills Dental Corp are not only NuBrace accredited providers but have been trained under Dr. Kalili, founder and CEO of NuBrace and have achieved the highest level of accreditation in the field.

NuBrace aligners are crystalline clear which are far more clear than others giving you the invisible look and only you and your hair designer will know.
Sapphire Teeth Whitening
Your smile is important. It’s one of the first things you notice when you meet someone. A whiter, brighter smile is beautiful. It can help you feel better about yourself and make a memorable impression. Your lifestyle and the aging process can stain and darken your teeth. Many things we do on a regular basis can contribute to stained teeth, such as drinking coffee, tea, cola and red wine or smoking. Whitening can get your smile looking its best.

We offer several in-office whitening services: the one hour Zoom! whitening system, the two visit Deep Bleaching Ultra-Whitening System and our unique $250 fifteen-minute Rapid Maintenance Whitening. All our whitening services are preceded by our exclusive Diamond Dust Polishing Paste treatment.

A brief history of dental bleaching is that it was discovered accidentally when dental scientists were using hydrogen peroxide to make gums healthier and they discovered that the solution was making teeth whiter.

Dr. Kalili has been involved in bleaching research studies at UCLA Department of Biomaterials Science where they placed a protection over half of the freshly extracted teeth, imbedded the teeth into bleach and then removed the protective layer. Then using an electric tooth brush which went up and down 2,500 times with given force and after looked at the surface on both the bleached and non-bleached surfaces with EM microscope and saw minimal difference.  However, this process should be done under controlled professional for optimum results.
